So cute!
A total surprise from so many other fairy books. What little girl wouldn't want her own private little fairy in her life! The story had an interesting mix of fantasy and reality. Reminds one of stories from long ago or of famous paintings, or movies like Xanadu that captured one's imagination.
Delightful
The author puts fantasy into the natural world and stirs it all up with art. Making the argument that art is in nature, and nature in art. The fairy in this story is a reality to the little girl telling the story, and we fall in love with them both. The story opens the door inviting the reader to explore the magic in imagination.
