Publisher Description
Oda Akira is the kind of guy who people forget is even there. His unassuming nature pays off, though, when his entire class is swept away to a fantasy world, and he slips easily into his new role as a silent assassin. Between his suspiciously high starting stats and too many details that don't fit, Akira is sure something is wrong. But digging into royal secrets is a dangerous game, and when Akira uncovers an evil scheme, he also makes a powerful enemy--the very king who brought him to this world! With the help of the elven spirit medium Amelia, can he find the power to set things right, and get his revenge?

Best book ever
I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH. I LOVE THE CONCEPT AND DIFFERENT VIEW POINTS. JUST AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING BOOK.
A MUST READ FOR ABIME WATCHERS OR MANGA READERS.
Alright but very similar to other light novel plots.
Okay, so this book is pretty much just The eminence in shadow and Arifureta plots combined into one. I would have liked to have seen something a little more unique than just a copy and paste of a story from those light novels. It isn’t exactly 100% copied, there is some interesting ideas that are not from the other light novels. But besides that I’m giving this book a 4 star because it really doesn’t live up to a 5 star rating.
Fairly shallow
The characters are barely more than one-dimensional, and the writing is adequate, but no more than that. I’m fairly tolerant of the usual isekai tropes, but you get little more than that here. It’s not terrible, and I don’t regret buying it, but I can’t find enough interest in the characters or world to want to read any more of the series.
