Oda Akira is the kind of guy who people forget is even there. His unassuming nature pays off, though, when his entire class is swept away to a fantasy world, and he slips easily into his new role as a silent assassin. Between his suspiciously high starting stats and too many details that don't fit, Akira is sure something is wrong. But digging into royal secrets is a dangerous game, and when Akira uncovers an evil scheme, he also makes a powerful enemy--the very king who brought him to this world! With the help of the elven spirit medium Amelia, can he find the power to set things right, and get his revenge?

Best book ever
I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH. I LOVE THE CONCEPT AND DIFFERENT VIEW POINTS. JUST AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING BOOK.
A MUST READ FOR ABIME WATCHERS OR MANGA READERS.
Fairly shallow
The characters are barely more than one-dimensional, and the writing is adequate, but no more than that. I’m fairly tolerant of the usual isekai tropes, but you get little more than that here. It’s not terrible, and I don’t regret buying it, but I can’t find enough interest in the characters or world to want to read any more of the series.
Not what you Think
Long tiles and isekais have been very popular and some better than others. This is a isekai and it dose start off with some of the more classic tropes. BUT I think it’s important to note that it doesn’t play out the way most other light novels do. Sure the first part of the books is very much what you expect from hero’s summoned from another world. What sets this LN apart is the MC isn’t your stereotypical overly dense protagonist. He is smart and observant, which leads him to unexpected allies. I think the books is worth giving a shot.
