Ian is the son of his mother Carla, single parent.
Lucas is the son of the father Neil also because of a horrible accident also a single parent.
Oh, just wait, it is just getting started.
Lucas is straight, positively never interested ever being with a man, until he sees him, Ian.
When Lucas, his father Neil, adored little sister & saintly mother was in an accident, a deadly boating accident that cost the death of two cherished lives. The pain, the drinking, the abandonment, loss can not even begin to describe what Lucas suffers daily & his father Neil lived through.
And the marriage of Neil & Carla well let's say there are a few disagreements. It was very quick ounce they met, and so much alcohol , well let's say the difference, the hatred is so huge it could block the sun.
The anger that Lucas feels for the newly joined, however Ian sees the truth. The truth of Lucas. What others witness bitterness, hatred is only a mask & if Ian can help Lucas see the truth well then they might see everything as one.
Sure, like we have not all been there done that one & learned never ever to do it again…
BUT….
that is just the beginning.
