My Strong

‘My Strong’ is a colourful children’s book that helps young kids cope with a family member who has cancer. In this book, kids will be able to connect with a little girl who recognises her grandma’s deteriorating state and works very hard at uplifting her spirit whilst overcoming the inevitable ending.

 

This book is part of the series ‘Stories by Demi’ – a little girl who is starting to take notice of the world around her with an optimistic outlook. 

 

This story is dedicated to my late mother Carmen Alicia – a woman who bravely battled cancer for over 15 years and survived her last four years solely to see her youngest grandchild grow old enough to remember her.
