From the author of My Highland Bride—hailed by Sandy Blair as “an entertaining time-travel story packed with spice, humor, fantasy, and nonstop adventure”—comes a sensual novel featuring a wolf-shifting chieftain who travels centuries to modern-day Scotland to tame his one and only.
Cursed to live forever with neither wife nor child, Ronan Sutherland has watched all he cherishes turn to dust—more than once. For hundreds of years, he’s been trapped behind the mists of Loch Ness, hoping to identify the one woman who is prophesied to break the spell. Now, at last, the fates have aligned, and he’s being sent into the future to fetch her. After a single glimpse, Ronan knows he’s been waiting all his life for this passionate woman.
Unlike her time-traveling sisters, Mairi Sinclair is perfectly content to remain in the present. As a hospital nurse in Edinburgh, she cherishes the opportunity to put her gift of healing powers to good use. But everything changes the morning a mysterious wolf darts in front of her car. Touching the wounded creature’s tawny coat, a tingle surges through her. Yet when she returns with aid, Mairi is shocked to find instead a man with broad shoulders and fire in his eyes—a man who tempts her to unleash the animal within.

Another excellent story of love ,time travel, and mystery! Mauri and Ronan have to undo a wrong but only by admitting the truth about their feelings. Trust and love will conquer all.
A highlander's heart indeed!
What a great read! Although this is book 3 of "A Highlander Hearts" series, it was very much a stand alone. The story was full of humor, family, time travel and the pitfalls of falling in love. This is my first book by Maeve Greyson, and I intend to go back and read books 1 & 2 of the series. I did not feel I missed anything in this book, but since I enjoyed it, I would like to read more of the series. I especially enjoyed the connection felt between Mairi and Ronan. Although poor Ronan couldn't seem to get it right by telling the truth, Mairi hung in there until he did. I would like to thank NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for gifting me with "My Tempting Highlander" and only asked for an honest review. Recommended read! 4 Stars!
Enjoyed this time travel series
I love the continuation of this series. Visiting old friends is always nice. Mairi has a big heart but not much trust in humans. From the first touch of Ronan's wolf, Mairi is in deep. She takes pleasure in introducing him to modern life although unwittingly. Once all comes clear, she fights her attraction to Ronan but agrees to do what it takes to break the curse. Ronan does not know how to open up to Mairi. He thinks he is doing the best thing by keeping secrets. They both push the other away until the moment of truth when they both realize what that truth is. The humor and the pace of this story kept me reading. I am enjoying this series very much and look forward to the next one.
I had a chance to read this through Netgalley.
