That was, until My Texas Streak was stolen after an rodeo. With no hide nor hair found of the stallion, Tyler is forced to returned home to his family's ranch in Gunnison, Colorado. Somehow, he has to figure out what to do with his career without the horse that will get him there...

Sarah Murphy has come home after a trying few months at medical school. A retreat to her family's Fairview Ranch in Colorado seems the best course of action to regroup from all the craziness. Back home, she rejoins the family's horse training business, with their specialty in "horse whispering" abused animals. A call about an abandoned horse found in open range near Gunnison is just the excuse she needs to forget everything she left behind in California...
