My True Love Gave To Me
This book introduces two families: the Munroes and the Pentercasts. A feud in their past, the oldest Munroe daughter has planned to get the families together to hopefully start a new leaf. The Munroes are financially in debt contrasted to the Pentecosts’ wealth after both of their patriarchs pass away. The oldest Pentecost son wagers a bet with the oldest Munroe daughter to wed if he can’t fulfill the days with the offerings spelled out in the lyrics of a common song: The Twelve Days of CHRISTmas. Lots of interactions, social activities and some terrible situations make this read a delight!

I enjoyed the premise that drove the plot.
