My Valdez Valentine: an opposites attract, personal ad romance

Wonderful and emotional story

Wow, this book totally blew me away. While I’ve enjoyed the other books in this series, My Valdez Valentine tore me apart and then put me back together again. I’m finding it difficult to put into words the emotions it brought out of me. As much as I loved it, and it probably helped me cleanse myself in a time of personal emotional upheaval, I honestly don’t know if I would have read it had I known how heavy a story it is. But with that heaviness comes touches of humor and so much love!
But I am so glad I did! Addison and Gideon were a wonder; two completely opposite people forced to work together but finding common group in both their quest and then as they build a relationship. I loved everything about them, but more importantly, I respected their faults and failings. As readers, we don’t always like the sticky parts of our characters personalities. I enjoy those traits, especially when it adds fullness to the story.
My Valdez Valentine will be one of those books I will recommend and encourage my friends to read. Katy Regnery wrote a beautiful 5 star story about love, forgiveness and family. Bravo!
