This was an amazing read! Couldn’t put it down.
This has to be my all time favorite series of books. Although set back when women were supposed to be demure and deferential the heroine and her husband are equals in such an lovely way. The characters complement each other perfectly. I couldn’t put the book down until I had finished it. If you only buy one book I urge you to make it this one. The intrigue, the plot to rescue the missing girl, the knocking the villain out cold in such a lavish setting? Buy it, You will thank me later.
