Publisher Description

Jack Wells barely has time to recover from his last assignment when he’s sent on a new mission. He’s an emergency replacement and there isn’t time for the usual prep. All he knows is the name of the man, David Grant, and where he’ll find him, 1932 Nairobi, Kenya.

In Colonial Africa, wild animals aren’t the most dangerous creatures around. Hedonistic aristocrats and vicious criminals are much bigger threats. The mission is more complicated than Jack could ever have imagined as he struggles to save Grant from an unknown assassin and faces someone from his past he never thought he’d see again.

Amazing. Monique Martin does it again

I received this book as an ARC and once again Monique Martin gives us an amazing adventure. She never disappoints; Nairobi Jack was my favorite in the Jack series thus far. I had to keep rewriting my review because I'm so excited about this book I kept giving too much away. The adventure is amazing, the twist is great and as with all Ms. Martin's books great paced. This book keeps you turning the pages. Her characters are so well developed and feel so real and relatable, you really feel as though you're there in the story. This book will not dissspiont you. I highly recommend this book the adventure you take through Africa with Jack is amazing. You really feel what Jack feels because of her amazing writing. Without giving anything away I recall a line where Jack says he wanted to both hit him (can't say who without spoiling it but you really need to read to find out. I yelled out loud. NO WAY!) and embrace him at the same time. Who can't relate to that? I always find a character in every book of hers that I really identify with I've always love Jack since his first appearance but in Nairobi Jack I really identified and felt how he was feeling. I could go on and on about it and how amazing this book and all of Monique's books are. I own them all and reread them all the time. I Highly recommend this book. I recommend all of her books as well.
