Naked Island

Naked Island is a historical crime thriller set in postwar Yugoslavia and France. After a careless political remark, skilled thief Nikola Vuković is arrested and eventually sent to the brutal prison camp of Goli Otok. Refusing to abandon him, his partner Ana and their small band of Balkan criminals risk everything to bring him back.

Their escape leads them to the French Riviera, where freedom quickly turns into temptation. In August 1949, the group becomes involved in the audacious robbery of the Aga Khan and the Begum's priceless jewels, drawing the attention of French police and Yugoslav intelligence.
