Naked

A feel good steamy romance with characters that you can’t help but fall for them. Definitely a page turner I read this story in a day and a half.

Noah knows his neighbor Violet, has been spying on him for a while. So he decides it’s time to meet her. He “falls” off his roof. Of course this brings Violet running to see if he was all right. Violet has been hiding ever since an accident claimed the life of her fiancé. Not only is she scarred emotionally, but also physically. She realizes she cannot hide out forever. She knows she has to go back to the real world and take over as CEO of her father’s construction company. But in the meantime, Noah and Violet agree to a short term causal relationship. In fact they don’t even tell each other their last names. The chemistry between them is hot. While it was a little difficult to connect to Violet, I loved Noah, his family and friends, especially Harper. Noah knows Violet is holding back. Because he is falling for her, he is willing to wait for her to let him in on her secrets. They both have some self-esteem issues; Noah because he is a blue collar worker Violet because of her physical scars. I love how Harper was able to finally get Violet to like herself the way she is. I look forward to her story. This is a standalone book and is a lesson about loving yourself no matter what you look like or what you doing for a living. While this book did not blow me away, overall a solid story.

Great story about self awareness, body image, and self confidence. This story is about Violet who is hiding away from everybody even her family after a terrible accident leaves her with scars inside and out. Loved both of these great characters, Violet and Noah. Loved how the author dealt with the difficult issues in this story. Both of these characters have a lot of baggage that they are trying to work through or avoid altogether.

Noah and Violet seem to bring out the best in each other, and although they are from different backgrounds they definitely seem to have some things in common. The heat that these two have together is sizzling hot. But with a time limit and limited information about each other that Violet and Noah agreed upon at the beginning of their relationship. They to soon find that their time is up even though neither wants to be without the other. But when fate steps in and they come face to face at work, Noah now thinks he understands why Violet kept so much from him. But will their secrets and baggage ever be all out in the open, and where will that leave them?

Well written story, with some great lovable characters. It had good flow throughout an excellent build with drama and intensity and passion. Sizzling hot chemistry, and a great ending.
