Nana's Tin of Buttons

The six Blake sisters Susannah, Katie, Marsha, Becky, Kelsey and Sharon are at their grandparents cabin, anxiously awaiting the birth of their newest sibling.

Nana suggests the girls make necklaces, brings out her tin of buttons and tells a special story about each one.

Papa takes them on a car trip around Lake Tahoe to all their favorite places ~ Fanny Bridge and Commons Beach in Tahoe City, Camp Richardson, Zepher Cove, Sand Harbor, Incline Village and Tahoe Vista.

Little Sharon keeps asking, "How long does it take a baby to be born?"

"Is it a boy or a girl?"
