NASA: Tour of the Electromagnetic Spectrum
Publisher Description
Electromagnetism is all around us and is essential to the world in which we live.
We rely on electromagnetic waves to heat our food, carry cell phone calls, and even bring music to the radios in our cars. But how does NASA sense this energy to study vegetation on Earth, monitor solar eruptions on the Sun, or detect elements on another planet?
This iBook provides animation and interactive graphics to illustrate electromagnetism and its associated wave properties. NASA imagery and spectral signatures demonstrate how NASA instruments harness the unique qualities of each wavelength to help study the dynamic properties of our Sun, the complexities of our Earth System, and the origins of the universe.

Nicely done
For the geeked out middle schooler, it was fun to read, full of information, with rich graphics. The only thing missing, to me, was a discussion on the extremely long wavelengths. To the reviewer who so snarkily dissed it as nap material, finish junior high school first, get a little maturity, and try to read it, and don't just look at picture books.
