A woman who is both a mortal human and a child of two Gods.

Aife was dying of old age when two powerful Gods plucked her from her home and claimed to be her true parents. The next shock was having her body returned to that of a young woman in her prime. Unable to return to her old village, she has been slowly adjusting to a new life and the powers that are slowly awakening within her.

It is a time of crisis and decision.

Raiders are attacking villages, killing, stealing precious winter supplies and young women. Men from Aife's new village have joined with others to track them down and reclaim what they can. When Aife learns that the raiders are using Fae-taught magic and that few of the hunters would return home, she resolves to do something.

Still struggling to control her nascent power, can Aife come up with a plan that will save the men, rescue the women, stop the raiding, and keep her secret without wreaking complete havoc?
