Jasper Beaumont, Earl of Whickerton, has come to the party to find a bride. He is fascinated with Edith’s matchmaking schemes, with her. The two of them are quite taken with each other. Will Edith’s matchmaking succeed, or will it exceed her expectations? Delightful story.
A Diamond for Christmas by Sydney Jane Baily
The Diamonds and the Chimes apparently have a history that will keep their children from making a match. The problem is Lord Geoffrey and Lady Caroline Chimes can’t get either family to explain. When their attraction turns to love, they have no way to be together but to elope. What follows is a lovely dash to Scotland with both families on their heels, and an entertaining look at the start of the Diamonds of the First Water. Fun read.

Francine is in the office when Chance Allerton, Viscount Remington, comes to Hildy for help finding a governess for his new ward. Francine volunteers for the job. Chance tries to stay away from the governess, but watching her with Kat touches his heart. There is also the rather hot attraction between him and Francine. An estate in bad shape, an unruly brother, a smart talkative ward, and a governess who wants to sketch him make for a delightful dilemma and a charming story.
The Countess’s Christmas Groom by Fenna Edgewood
The only good that came from Lady Katherine Colworth’s marriage is her son, Oliver. Ashley Spencer is a groom on her family estate. He is, as her brother puts it, a wonder with horses. They were taken with each other the moment they set eyes on each other. Of course, there is not a chance they can ever be together, is there? Ash is coming to love Pippa and Oliver. When danger strikes out at them, he proves himself more than worthy. Wonderful story.
A Very Daring Christmas by Charlie Lane
Lady Phillipa Hampton loves Scotland and hates crowds. She has been sent to Grandmama to prepare her (and her manners) for her debut into Society. Bram Shaw is Grandmama’s steward. Pippa and Bram are more than attracted to each other, but Grandmama puts a stop to it, for a while. Will Pippa and Bram be the next unconventional match in a notably unconventional family? Daring story.
Gentleman of Christmas Past by Jennifer Monroe
Before there was a Mrs. Rutley’s School and a Sisterhood of Secrets, Agnes Fitzsimmons fell in love with Phillip Rutley. Phillip returns the feelings, but his financial situation is a great hindrance to a future with her. He has a plan. Will it work? Lovely story.
Christmas Intrigue by Meredith Bond
A staid diplomat, brother to the prince of his country, falls for a chirpy, impulsive young lady. Of course, they cannot be together, can they? Maybe the answer is in a letter from his brother and a Christmas miracle. Sweet story.

I so enjoyed these books. I read the first three books, I can’t wait to read the others, if they are half as good I won’t be disappointed.
Once Upon an Aggravatingly Heroic Kiss: I loved watching Edith work her magic on everyone she met, she was so sweet to everyone and she was able to see things others couldn’t. Even though Jasper kept his eye on her he didn’t know how she was able to do most of the things she did.
A Diamond for Christmas: I loved how both Caroline and Geoffrey found ways to get to know each other without getting caught. I loved how it all worked out in the end, all the twists, surprises, and drama will keep you engaged throughout.
The Governess Gamble: I was so sure Frannie would do what she had planned from the beginning, I was so glad when she didn’t. I loved how she is able to win others over without even trying. The descriptions in this book bring so much color to the story.
These books will give you many hours of enjoyment.

The first story in the Naughty or Nice: A Holiday Regency Anthology is written by one of my favorite authors. Once Upon an Aggravatingly Heroic Kiss, a part of the Whickertons in Love series, is a truly heartwarming story. This series has the best characters, the Wickertons are such an entertaining family! This delightful story from Bree Wolf is infused with warmth and humor. I enjoyed the story of Lady Edith. Grandma Edie has always been my favorite character in this series. It was great to read about the beginning of her mischievous matchmaking efforts. Now, we also know her connection to the MacKinnear’s. This is another charming and romantic love story that I highly recommend. It shows us that anything is possible, especially with Lady Edie’s help!
