Navaho Legends

This work presents several traditional legends and folktales of the Navajo people, as collected and translated by ethnographer, linguist army surgeon Washington Matthews. Some of the stories include the Navajo origin legend, the story of the Fifth World and others. The book also includes numerous photographs of Navajo men and women in traditional dress.
