Saving the SEAL
Being abducted by a beautiful woman in Cancun wasn't part of Sawyer Houston's R & R mission. Jenna Broyles claims she's rescuing the vacationing navy SEAL from unknown assailants. Only it's her life on the line when the jilted bride becomes a target.
The high-end Mexico resort was supposed to be Jenna's honeymoon destination. But after a dangerous discovery forces her to play hero, she's the one in need of the gorgeous stranger's expertise. As Jenna and Sawyer flee across treacherous tropical jungles, the heat between them builds to a fever pitch. Can they make safe haven before Sawyer's secrets get them both killed?
Good suspense, great romance, a mystery not completely solved
Sawyer and several of his SEAL buddies are on vacation in Cancun. They are not looking for adventure; they get enough of that with their SEAL duties. Jenna and Carly are in Cancun because Jenna was left at the altar and the honeymoon was nonrefundable.
Jenna’s cheating ex said she was boring and he couldn’t see being with her forever. Carly is encouraging Jenna to do things that no one would ever call boring. They meet Sawyer and his friend Quentin waiting in line to ride a zip-line through the jungle. Both Jenna and Sawyer aren’t too happy about doing this and have thoughts of backing out but they go through with it.
Later, at her hotel, Jenna accidentally picks up a suitcase she thinks is her missing one. When she opens the suitcase she is surprised, and somewhat horrified, to find that it contains a weapon and instructions to capture Sawyer, the man she just met.
Although he isn’t staying at her hotel she is able to track him down. What follows is a compelling adventure filled with suspense and intrigue. The chemistry between the h and H is electric but neither of them is looking for anything permanent.
Elle James did a great job leaving red-herrings during this story!

A man who becomes a navy seal but wants to back out of doing a zip line??? A navy seal who doesn’t want adventure??? The hero was more like a girl.
The heroine is annoying and stupid.
The story is starting out horrible!!!
I can’t finish it.
