    Wonderful photography

An absolutely stunning look at the behind the scenes process of capturing some of the most amazing space shuttle photography. Well designed and packaged book -- and the inclusion of the multimedia portion, including the audio files, is brilliant. A must have for any space or space shuttle fan.

    Negative Return

I highly recommend Negative Return if you are interested in spaceflight, the space shuttle program, rocket launches or space history. I have seen space shuttle launches in person but this author's photographs will "almost" jump out of their pages at you. They are so sharp, with outstanding colors & interesting text of how they were done. Author James Brown managed to find the unusual angles that others had not.

    Negative Return is all positive!

I've seen a lot of iconic space shuttle images over the years, but Brown has just raised the photographic bar. He not only showcases the "launch" phase but just about every other phase as well. He brings a high level of creativity and sensitivity to his craft.

I especially like the audio commentary, it's like getting an exclusive behind the scenes tour of what it takes to make great photos.

Milgrom has done a masterful job of assembling the images and creating an enjoyable interface in which to view them.

If you love the space program and/or excellent photography you must buy the book.
