Zoe Black is a seventeen-year-old on a mission: graduate from high school in Boulder, Colorado, as quickly as possible and take the Ivy League by storm. Then a compromising picture surfaces on the Internet—of her. Her life is over. Literally.
Except, it’s not, and Zoe soon finds herself banished to a remote corner of England, expected to recover from a suicide attempt. What she wants is to disappear, to hide from the world and members of the opposite sex in particular, but her pseudo-stepmother Danielle won’t let her. Neither will an irrepressible young fisherman named Idris. His appearance brings Zoe’s future into even brighter focus. There are negative spaces all around, but there are positive ones, too.
