Neh-Ti

Neh-ti is the Khamitian story about the principal faith—the faith that a seed shall grow into a radiant flower and the faith that nurtured children will nourish a community.  


In anticipation of the Khamitís (Ancient Egypt) summer solstice celebration, the Lam-re-dam festival, a young girl, Imasonghe,  is attracted to a brilliantly colored flower and wants to know more. The young girl rushes to speak with the high priestess, Mut Maat (Mother of Truth) and learn all she can to satisfy her inner quest. But while learning of this most mesmerizing flower, Imasonghe discovers the power of faith—trusting that something works—and community.
