Nehemiah

Nehemiah’s journey from slave to rebuilder of a city, and ultimately to rebuilder of a nation is one of the greatest leadership stories found in Scripture. His life exemplifies God’s providential power to have the right person in the right place at the right time. With Jerusalem under Syrian control, Nehemiah was placed at the side of King Artaxerxes, the only man in the world who had the authority and resources to restore the city of God.


Mike Hilson is lead pastor of New Life Church in La Plata, Maryland, and author of several books and ministry resources. Since 1999, he has led his congregation into multiple church and video venues both locally and internationally. His wife, Tina, and sons, Robert, Stephen, and Joshua, join him in ministry.
