     When professional thief John Smith returned to Earth to deliver his latest score, he had no intention of staying any longer than it took to meet with the collector and get his money for the job. But an unlucky encounter with his rental apartment's neighbor puts Smith squarely in the sights of a Russian gangster and his cyborg crew. It also puts him squarely in the center of a conspiracy he would have rather not even know about.

     As the layers of the ordeal his bad luck has put him in unravel, Smith finds himself running from psychic mind controlling crime families fighting a civil war for control, grotesque mutant underground cannibals and their hideously bloated, tentacle faced god, and crazed cybernetic hookers, all while trying to stay one step ahead of the Russian killers who have vowed to make him pay.

     But what lies at the end of this maze of torment is something even Smith isn't ready for. Even if he can survive it, he can't be sure the rest of humanity will.
