Neural Regulation of the Respiratory Center

This is neural science.  Not only behind your pons(hindbrain), yet, its connectivity  to the respiratory  center.  A question is given.  A hypothesis with supported data  is  proven with models and conclusions  (via data and materials)  is  given.  More studies need to transpire and exacerbate these discussions.  It is the Donnelly et. al. team that postulated lung and the respiratory centers promise.
