New Geography

This Geography text book is designed for Year 5 children and complies with the requirements of the new National Curriculum. It emphasizes two main strands - Knowledge and Understanding; Inquiry and Skills, whist addressing relevant cross curriculum priorities.


The book offers students and teachers a range of interesting geographical topics whilst using 21st Century learning technologies and learning experiences. The main focus is on inquiry learning, concentrating on the geography of Europe and North America, whilst recognizing the benefits of collaborative and team investigation opportunities. There are a number of interactive learning experiences that allow students to work on topics with teacher guidance and support and an interactive review quiz at the end of the chapter.
