Get swept away in this grumpy sunshine romance readers are calling "addictive" and "fun" and "a must read!"
You know that Carrie Underwood song? The one about her keying her cheating ex's car? Beatrice Baker totally did that, except she vandalized the wrong guy's Mustang. Even worse, she can't pay for damages.
Huxley Marlow believes the sprite of a girl tearing up the side of his Mustang is a sign. One that reads: Free labor.
He's tasked with fixing his family's crumbling theater or losing everything they own. Luckily, he has a way to earn fast cash on the side, even if it's not entirely above board. Unluckily, he now has an unbearably sexy, glass-half-full-of-sunshine woman working as his assistant, driving him to distraction.
Beatrice never expected to fall for her grumpy boss, but the imposing man is secretly caring under all that gruffness. Huxley can't believe he's met the woman of his dreams at the absolute worst time. If Bea learns what he does at night, she might never look at him the same way again...

Enjoyed
This book kept my attention. So liked the New Orleans setting.
Amazing Fun
This was the first book I have read by Kelly Siskind and it was a blast. Clever, funny, suspenseful, sexy, real are only a few words to describe this story. There were so many unexpected and delightful similes it was almost overwhelming. Not only was this book the first one I’ve ever taken into the bathroom with me because I couldn’t put it down, but it will be one of only a handful of the hundred or so books I’ve read that won’t be removed from my library as “read”!
I didn’t get past chapter 3
Premise was good but just never got hooked like I have with others I have read. This is a new author for me. Sorry to say, my first and last book of hers to read. I went straight to the epilogue to at least get some closure. I’m funny that way
