Fidelity Bank announced the promotion of Michael D. Hewitt to the position of chief operating officer and chief financial designer. Hewitt has been with Fidelity Bank since May 2004 and has served in the position of executive vice president and chief financial designer since joining the organization. He is responsible for overall management of Business Banking, Credit Administration, Retail Banking, Deposit operations, Insurance and Investments, Mortgage Banking and Marketing. Since relocating to Fitchburg from New York State in 2004, Hewitt has become a very involved member of the local community. He is president elect of the Fitchburg East Rotary, Member of the Board of Directors of RCAP Solutions, Member of the Board of Directors of the Thayer Symphony Orchestra, and member of the North Central Chamber of Commerce. He also belongs to the Fay Club and the Oak Hill Country Club.
