Fun Cozy
As I read the book, I became more and more involved with the characters. Tilly doesn’t get captured by the story’s villain. That seems to happen too often. I really found how Tilly put the pieces of the mystery together intriguing.
Tilly also finds time to teach life lessons to others and start a new romance. I am looking forward to reading about what happens to Tilly and boyfriend, Derek ,as she has a new mystery solve.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I can’t wait for the next book!
When she finds Carla's boss dead in his restaurant, Tilly can’t understand why her friend isn’t more upset. In fact, Carla seems bound to carry on as though things are just fine now that he is dead. Even though the police find that he was poisoned with cyanide, Carla and the boss’s daughter seem quite happy to move forward to life without him. Tilly becomes more and more concerned when it becomes obvious that the police are closing in on Carla for the murder. There are several other suspects, why won’t they consider any of them? Why is Carla so unconcerned? Why does Sophia seem glad to have control of the restaurant and her home? Where do the other suspects come into the picture? Meanwhile, Tilly finds a bit of time for romance, finding love and the killer at the same time.
Although I had not read the first book in this series, I really enjoyed this book and plan to read more of Tilly’s adventures soon!
