The Physics Classroom's Newton's Laws textbook is the second book in its Tutorial Series. The book uses a down-to-earth style and an easy-to-understand language to discuss physics concepts in a logical manner.
Difficult concepts are presented with the help of informative graphics and a common-sense approach. Interactive quizzes are sprinkled throughout the text to help the learner check for understanding. While committed to a concepts-first approach to learning, The Physics Classroom does not shy away from the teaching of mathematical ideas and the solving of word problems. The Interactive Practice Problems widgets guide the learner through the steps of becoming a successful problem-solver.

The book contains typographical errors, its graphics are awkwardly produced, the writing style is disjointed, and the interactive elements of the chapter are limited.
Tom Henderson's Newton's Laws
I have been using the Physics Classroom web site in my teaching practice for many years and love it. The iBooks just take the material available on the web and improve it. Henderson's books are clearly written, have excellent illustrations, interactives to clarify concepts, math to apply the concepts, and quizzes to test comprehension. I am looking froward to seeing the completion of the series.
