Niagara Redemptions

Marco Burke, a martial arts expert, returns to his hometown after an absence of twenty years to fulfill an obligation to a childhood best friend. His friend has requested that Marco intervene on his behalf with the local godfather, as Marco is the only person he can trust. Local mobsters have made two attempts on his friend's life and he would like to know why. Marco meets with the godfather and they become good friends. They eventually uncover a plot by renegade out-of-state gangsters and local traitors who want to depose the godfather and take over his local interests. Marco recalls the situations and people that influenced him to become the man he is today. The story also deals with loyalty, sexual situations, action, violence, arson and a clever scam worked on the out-of-state gangsters. The survivors in the story find some redemption in their lives, but the people who lose their lives find no redemption in death.
