Publisher Description
“Nice work, boys!” was a phrase Hanalei often heard thrown at her throughout her time working in the ski industry and restaurant kitchens. As one of the only women in both fields, one of the youngest, and a new leader, she details her struggles, successes, and failures learning leadership on the job.
You’ll be right there next to her at 1 p.m. on a Saturday, cooking hundreds of lunches at a hole-in-the-wall seafood spot. You’ll get an inside view of what goes on at a ski resort from a mountain operations employee. You’ll meet the people she met and hear what she learned through her experiences.

I am in love for the story and details. I feel like I am at some tv series
First, I started following the author in the social media and I loved the insight in short real comedy and truth behind the scene of culinary / restaurant world. From the book, I could go reading non stop the enthusiastic narratives of scenarios in her living experience. I highly recommend for sure this book if you want get some advices not only for working with food but if you want get connected and inspire like self awareness and understanding your motivation, the author brings this type of help that it fits in various scenarios and situations of life. The book is about how she handled so much in a crazy underpaying environment but isn’t about only men versus women. It is how to feel and how to help yourself be able to identify where, when, how, and examples you can take for better life. She is magnificent sharing all this help with this fantastic biography book.
