A book about art without examples

The text is a running dialog with informational graphics designer Nigel Holmes. Every chapter presents Nigel's views on a given topic and how he interpreted that topic into commercial art, but the author does not provide any pictures of the referenced art. As a result, while the dialog is good, the book fails.
