Night City

This place is gonna eat you up.

Night City is an epic drama about the hilarious highs and devastating lows of London's gig economy.

Meet Jack, driving for GoGo Cars, charged by cheap speed and star ratings, only living for himself. That is until he meets Tia, a waitress and budding writer determined to turn London into the city of her dreams. And Tamara, a carer, who makes a fatal error one night and plunges all their lives into chaos.

Told with sharp humour, this urgent new play exposes the realities of modern work and challenges corrupt systems. Silence always comes at a cost.

This edition was published to coincide with the production at Southwark Playhouse Borough in September 2026.
