Publisher Description
My name is Killian Rice, and I am a vampire.
I have only one weakness—HER.
After two centuries of walking this earth, I thought nothing could surprise me. Then I met Lizzy Moss.
She's my last hope to break the curse that's killing my friend, and she's going to help me, whether she likes it or not.
The problem? She has no idea she's a witch, or that creatures like me even exist.
Now, I know entirely too much about her.
I know her beauty consumes me. I know her scent ignites a thirst I can barely control. I know her presence soothes the monster within me. I know wild magic pulses through her veins.
And I know, without a doubt, she is my fated mate.
But claiming her will shatter the fragile truce between my coven and the witches. And walking away will destroy me.
A good man would let her go.
But I am not a good man…

Fun and interesting
Lizzy moves back to New Orleans to run the shop her aunt left her. Killian was the leader of a group of vampires in New Orleans and one of them had been cursed and was dying by a witch. Lizzie was a witch but didn’t know it. Killian couldn’t understand his draw to Lizzie when he approached her to help Kenya with the curse that was on her. Killian realized that Lizzie was his soulmate and had a wild and interesting time convincing Lizzie that they belonged together. Fun read

I just didn’t like killian
The book had promise but some things were weird. Vampires who need glasses for example. I read 75 percent of the book and I just couldnt anymore. Killian to me is not very likeable, even the man he sired is tired of him. Spiler Alert. The book begins by showing Killia’s friend Kenya dying due to some witch’s curse. Killian needs a witch to heal Kenya. He finds Lizzy in a shop and he is drawn to her. He keeps coming back night after night. He follows her home, stalks her, etc. Eventually Lizzy goes back to Killian’s club (him and his vampires run some Magic Mike place where they all perform). Killian rips out Lizzy’s wrist and feeds Kenya in an effort to save her. He finds out that Lizzy is his mate and goes crazy. Lizzy wants nothing to do with Killian but she is always aroused by him. Killian ends up killing 2 people, he goes and finds Lizzy and somehow she overlooks the fact he has killed people and they have sex. The story continues but Killian just doesn’t seem likeable to me.
