The author needlessly used one of the few 4 letter words used to describe a woman that I hate. it is more misogynistic than descriptive. Wont be finishing.

I could not stop reading this fascinating story and am sad I’ve come to the end. Now I’m going to read every book by Irwin Shaw.

Such detail of characters without droning on. He brings them to life. The reader begins cheering them on.
