Touch the images to hear the sounds! Touch the play button bottom right corner to read aloud! Nile wakes up one beautiful morning by the sound of his parents knocking at his bedroom door. His hair is so long he cannot see them or anything else for that matter. Nile tries to get out of bed but falls, and thankfully, he is ok. Nile's parents help him up and decide it is time to take Nile and his wild hair on a new adventure, to the barbershop. That is where Nile overcomes his fears, meets new friends, and most of all, gets his first haircut! (Half of all proceeds will go to charity!)

Fun and helpful
A boys first trip to the barbershop is always full of nerves, and often tears. Adam Lindo has given us the book I wish I had when I took my son to the barber for the first time. Nile’s trip to getting a haircut is full of obstacles that are all too relatable and handled with gentle care by the author. Must read for parents with young children who may get a little nervous when going in for haircuts.
My grandson loves it, keeps him busy.
