Nine Days in October

There was a certain level of convenience to having Peter lose his memory while working on creating artificial intelligence and mind control projects. The government wanted him to succeed and there was plenty of money to be made. Finding the truth was more illusive than he would ever have imagined. Even his friends seem either unable or unwilling to tell him why his life changed so drastically on one summer afternoon. Inconsistency lies behind every word of explanation, until one foggy October night when Peter discovers that truth comes with a price.
