Loved!
I actually LOVED this book. I passed by it too many times because I listened to everyone else’s opinion. I’m so glad I finally picked it up! It’s a sweet, sweet story.
Not Great
I tried to like this book but it was too predictable and not well written.
The characters have no depth. Certain parts are redundant. I finished it just to see if it would get better and it did not.
Disappointed
For me it was more romance than anything historical. Had it been advertised as a period piece romance, readers who enjoy that genre might have raved about it.
