Publisher Description
Commissioned in 1975 by Thomas Nelson Publishers, 130 respected Bible scholars, church leaders, and lay Christians worked for seven years to create a completely modern edition of the King James Version that would continue the classic tradition of the original King James. With unyielding faithfulness to the original Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic texts, the translators applied the most recent research in archaeology, linguistics, and textual studies. The resulting work provides today's Bible reader with an accurate and modern translation of the Scriptures with the stylistic beauty and memorable quality of the King James.

I tried this version on my Kindle and the navigation was absolutely terrible. If you want to read the Bible starting at page one and go page by page you were all set. But, if you are on a 365 day plan good luck in searching for specific passages. So, I was hoping that the BOOKS version had better navigation. NOPE, nowhere to be found. Perhaps by spending 10.00 you will have that but, since both versions are by the same publisher, i am guessing nope. It should have a table of content that takes you to each book with chapters and, It should be EASILY accessible no matter where you are. NOTE: I have several bibles but my eyesight is getting worse. I was hoping that a digital version would allow me to adjust the font and spacing along with the above.
