Publisher Description
A beachside wedding. A groom lost to the waves. And a café owner who refuses to let the truth drift away.
Escape to Charm, North Carolina—where coastal breezes carry deadly secrets, and every clue is served with a slice of Southern sweetness. This witty, twisty, sun-drenched cozy mystery is perfect for fans of Laura Childs, Kate Carlisle, and readers who crave beachside suspense with a comforting heart.
Everly Swan is used to multitasking—iced tea, scones, and small-town drama—but catering her friend’s wedding should be the easy part. Until the groom washes ashore and scandal crashes the celebration.
With her best friend under suspicion, Everly jumps into the investigation against the wishes of the frustratingly attractive Detective Grady Hays. But between nosy neighbors, hidden motives, and threats brewing beneath the surface, she’ll need every ounce of courage—and a little help from her eccentric great-aunts—to uncover the truth.
Includes recipes straight from Everly’s kitchen!

Yummy book and yummy recipes
Recipes! For 2 beverages and 1 food to be specific. They look so good and they would be perfect to indulge in while discussing this wonderful cozy mystery with your friends or book club. The characters were truly fantastic and the mystery was well done. The dialogue flowed nicely and I felt like there was appropriate character development for the story. I missed the first book in the series and feel completely comfortable going back to read it. I don’t feel like there was anything given away or that each book couldn’t be read regardless of the order. (Though if you can read them in order going forward, why not?!)
Thank you so much to NetGalley, Bree Baker, and SOURCEBOOKS-Landmark for allowing me to read this book and share my honest thoughts and opinions with others
