No In Between

I like how the story unfolds, but I do have issues with the authors choice in words between characters. It bothers me how she uses certain phrase words between characters, such as so deliciously male..... and so many others I don’t have time to fully write. Because I just now picked these books up and have not had to wait for their release as others did ....... it makes me wonder why her editor didn’t pick up on the grammatical phasing between different characters. No two ppl are going to use the same words to describe the same things and yet the author stuck with the same phases throughout all her characters. Giving Sarah the benefit of doubt that she would use the same phasing because she has read Rebecca’s journals .... but not between mark and Chris. I do love the story this book because it includes more characters making for more of a gripping story. But after reading Rebecca’s journals it’s horrible to think how she foresaw her own death without ever realizing that’s what it was. Now don’t knock me knocking get common phrases of the author, but without someone mentioning it .... how will the author ever grow. But I’d of seriously love the whole dynamic that Chris and Sara have going on. It’s so delightful to read about.
