No Place As Peaceful As the Fields

"No Place As Peaceful As The Fields" takes its title from a line in a poem written by Laurel Starbird Singer, who passed away on November 8th, 2006 at the age of 16. This book includes a collection of her poems, artwork, and thoughts on life, much of it discovered in her notebooks after her death. It also includes a section of poems and eulogies contributed by family members and friends. This book is intended as a loving means to keep Laurel's spirit alive, as a source of healing, and as a gift to others either struggling with thoughts of suicide or the pain of its aftermath.
