Not a Fan
This a marvelous book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I have been looking at the church over the last decades and said people will allow others to read the Bible for them, but they will definitely count their money at the bank. So to some money is more important to them than the Word of God. I pray others will follow Jesus closer than ever before. My name is James Tucker and I am not a fan.

I just finished reading this book last night. It was a true eye opener.
I had walked away from God and his teachings after my husband and then my father passed away and just returned to Him after three years of what I choose to call bad behavior. I picked this book up and couldn't put it down. I realized that I had been just a Fan and not a follower. After reading this book I now understand what it is to be a follower and not a Fan.

So far so good....
I've been living my whole life knowing who He is. Trusting. Believing. When someone near would confront a little about "do I know Him or do I just know about Him" I thought I was in the know Him camp. This is such a gentle nudge toward "I bet you really only know about Him" that I can take it in without feeling beat up about it. Just like Jesus, this draws you to Him instead of pushes you at Him (or burn in hell sinner!). I will finish this one page at a time and let all the words sink in.
