Enlightening tale
This is an amazing story of an infantryman who was blessed by God during a tour of Vietnam where many of his comrades died by his side while he was saved by Divine intervention. This is a must read on many levels. A harrowing story one man's fight to survive while pushing his luck by walking point for much of his tour. While not a political book it is a dramatic illustration of the futile waste of life that results from most wars. It is also a testament to God's healing powers that played a significant role in the author's life in the 40 year after his military service. I highly recommend this book for veterans, for Christians, and to history buffs.
