Not My Idea
Lucas’ story is fun. Bethany Swafford’s novels are set in the early 19th century, with a pulse on today. Finished six books in a row and looking for the stories to continue. I only have a few more to read.
Of course, I am a woman reading a “man’s story” written by a woman. It seems to work for me, but I wonder how a man reading from Lucas’ POV would feel (men do have feelings, albeit deeply hidden for some). I think that Ms. Swafford has a handle on a man’s POV.
I should probably just ask my husband of 36 years.
