NOTB TRACKS
The music of Cliff J Larson — a legacy, not a headstone
THE STORY
Every song in the NOTB Tracks catalog was written by Cliff J Larson — about his life, the
events that shaped him, the way he saw the world, and the long journey along the way. This is
not a hobby or a passing project. It is a legacy: something left behind for the people he loves, a
living record in place of a headstone.
The road here was not an easy one. Born in Munich, Germany, raised poor in Austin, Texas
and New Iberia, Louisiana, Cliff grew up with little in the way of money but a great deal in the
way of love — thanks to a loving and caring Cajun mother, Stella Theresa Comeaux. That
upbringing runs through the music: honest, resilient, warm at the edges, and never afraid to tell
the truth about hard times.
"I'm not leaving a headstone. I'm leaving the songs — so the story stays."
