Kat has been given a chance at a new life, so long as she isn't too scared to take it. 

After growing up in a life of crime, Kat has an opportunity to train as a musician at the Temple of Hathor, and she's determined to make the most of it. But life on Temple Street is different from what she's used to, and it's taking more time to adjust than she'd like. 

And then there's her ex. Eirene has made it clear that she wants to try again, but with Kat now part of Eirene's world, she's starting to wonder whether she's good enough for her.
