Tallie is always trying to help others and getting into trouble for it. But those she saves are grateful to her and almost everyone in town likes her. Peyton is a competent lawyer who has known Tallie since she was little. He calls her a pest but has never stopped looking out for her. That must end. Peyton is from a distinguished family and he’s planning to run for governor. Tallie can’t cause him any more trouble.
