A brilliantly written expose on the birth of Weimar Germany!
I loved this book! It’s a quick read, being thoroughly researched and written in an approachable manner. My only wish is that Gerhardt would’ve elaborated further on Munich’s Räterepublik and the Kapp Putsch. Overall, this is a must read for anyone interested in the tumultuous early years of Weimar Germany!
